Private funds managers view AI due diligence as an increasingly critical part of the valuation process. However, they are struggling to secure the information they need due to the intricacies of the technology and the speed at which it is developing.
“A huge part of the conversation and discussion around value creation is orientated around AI opportunity,” said Nigel Walder, a partner at Bain Capital, speaking on a panel at the UK Private Capital 2026 Summit in London on Thursday.
